All ages. Instruction will be geared for adults, but children who are interested are welcome to attend with an adult. Parents, please make sure to monitor your children’s energy and interest levels during the program to ensure that their behavior is conducive to a positive learning environment for everyone.

We’ll be hiking about 2 miles on an easy to moderate trail; Coyote Song Trail to Swallow Trail.

Wear hiking boots or sturdy, comfortable walking shoes. Dress in layers, bring water & sunscreen (as shade is at a minimum.)

You will meet the educator near the kiosk of the main parking lot (north trailhead) of South Valley Park.

Please leave pets at home.

Let’s play and learn outside! Our programs go rain, snow, or shine! So, dress accordingly. We will cancel the program if the weather is hazardous or unsafe. If a program is canceled we will send an e-mail and/or call each registered participant. You can also check the event listing. We usually make the call to cancel within 24 hours of the program.
